Qiushi Distinguished Scholar
任职要求
岗位包括求是特聘教授岗、求是特聘教学岗、求是特聘医师岗、求是特聘工程岗、求是特聘智库岗等。应聘者应担任高水平大学教授及相当职务(其中求是特聘医师岗人选原则上应具有教授和主任医师职务);在同行中具有广泛影响力,能够带领本学科引领或赶超国际先进水平;具有较强的团队精神和相应的组织、管理能力;申请当年1月1日未满55周岁,其中求是特聘教学岗、求是特聘智库岗及人文社会科学领域引进人才未满59周岁。

Requirements
Positions include Qiushi Distinguished Professor, Qiushi Distinguished Professor for Teaching, Qiushi Distinguished Clinician, Qiushi Distinguished Engineer, Qiushi Distinguished Scholar for Think Tanks, etc. Applicants should hold a full professorship (or equivalent) at a reputable university (Qiushi Distinguished Clinician requires both professor and chief physician in principle), possess broad influence within their academic community, demonstrate the ability to lead the discipline to or beyond international advanced levels, and exhibit strong teamwork and organizational skills. Applicants should be under 55 years old as of January 1 of the recruitment year (under 59 for teaching, think tank, and humanities/social sciences positions).

Tenured Professor: Should have achieved internationally recognized academic accomplishments, possess considerable international reputation and influence, and have an excellent record in teaching, research, and talent cultivation, equivalent to a tenured professor at a leading global university.
Tenured Associate Professor: Should have produced original and significant academic work, enjoy certain international recognition and influence, and have a strong record in teaching, research, and talent cultivation, equivalent to a tenured associate professor at a leading global university.

Postdoctoral Researcher
任职要求
35周岁以下,近年内获得博士学位,品学兼优;具有良好的学术发展潜力和国际视野,能全职来校工作。特别优秀者可申请“求是博士后”项目。

Requirements
Applicants should be under the age of 35 and have obtained a doctoral degree in recent years, with strong academic integrity and overall excellence. They should demonstrate good potential for academic development and an international outlook, and be able to work full-time at ZJU. Eligible outstanding candidates may apply for the Qiushi Postdoctoral Fellowship Program.

通过初审者会被邀请参加视频面试或来杭交流,发送申请邮件后4周内完成初审工作,6周内未收到回复可认为是未通过初选。欢迎来电、来信垂询。
Candidates who pass the preliminary review will be invited to attend a video interview or to visit Hangzhou for further discussions. The preliminary review will be completed within 4 weeks after the application email is submitted. After over 120 years of development, the University has become a comprehensive research university with distinctive features and great impact at home and abroad. ZJU offers programs across 13 disciplines: philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management, art, and interdisciplinary studies. Of all the 22 disciplines in the list of the Essential Science Indicators (ESI), 21 disciplines rank in the top 1% globally according to ESI, with 15 in the top 0.1% (ESI data, December 2025). Among the faculty, there are 30 members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and 20 members of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 21 senior and named chair professors in liberal arts, and more than 2000 high-level and outstanding young talents.
