Suzhou GAO SEMI Co., LTD., formerly known as Beijing GAO SEMI Co., LTD., was established in July 2021 in Beijing Huairou National Science City, is a high-tech enterprise focusing on the fourth-generation semiconductor Gallium Oxide technology and products. At present, the company has all moved into Suzhou Industrial Park, and built more than 3,000 square meters of standard purification plant and more than 600 square meters of office space.

Suzhou GAO SEMI Co., Ltd. originated from laboratory scientific research and was born in Huairou National Science City, the core of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei. It was incubated in Huangpu Science City, Guangzhou, Pearl River Delta. GAO SEMI focuses on the fourth-generation semiconductor Gallium Oxide technology and products. In the future, it will grow and expand in Suzhou Industrial Park, Yangtze River Delta.

Chairman Tang pointed out that Gallium Oxide is recognized as the most promising fourth-generation ultra-wide bandgap semiconductor material in the industry, which will be derived into the first economic new industry and create new quality productivity. Because Gallium Oxide technology is so important, Gallium Oxide has become the focus of semiconductor technology competition between China and the United States, which is subject to mutual embargo by both sides, and it is also a scientific and technological innovation industry project that Jiangsu Province has planned ahead of schedule.

At present, Suzhou GAO SEMI has the production capacity of Gallium Oxide related products such as high-quality large-size Gallium Oxide substrate and epitaxial chip, advanced highly sensitive solar blind UV detector, high-power electronic devices, as well as the design and manufacturing capacity of single crystal and special equipment for epitaxial growth. At the same time, the company is also committed to the cooperation and expansion of Gallium Oxide industrial cluster and industrial chain, and is the head of high-tech enterprises in the domestic Gallium Oxide industry. The company has won one provincial and ministerial award, has 5 core technologies, more than 40 invention patents, and won the titles of Beijing Zhongguancun High-Tech Enterprise, Shanghai Zhangjiang High-Tech Most Growth Project, Suzhou Leading Project Enterprise, Suzhou Unicorn Cultivation Enterprise, etc. The Series A financing will be completed in 2023, all for the construction of Suzhou GAO SEMI plant, equipment purchase, capacity expansion, 4-inch small batch mass production, 6-8 inch single crystal substrate and epitaxy technology development. In the next three years, the company will invest another 150 million, mainly for the mass production of 6-inch substrates and 4-6 inch epitaxy and highly sensitive solar-blind ultraviolet detectors, leading the development of the Gallium Oxide industry and ushering in explosive growth.

Ni Qian, member of the Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee of Suzhou Industrial Park, said in his speech that GAO SEMI, as a leader in the fourth-generation semiconductor field in China, has originality, leadership and important influence in the research and development of Gallium Oxide materials and related devices. At the meeting, GAO SEMI officially released products and equipment such as 6-inch Gallium Oxide substrate, solar blind ultraviolet focal plane imaging chip, corona discharge real-time monitoring equipment, which marks a substantial and important step on the road to promote the industrialization of Gallium Oxide.

The participants also visited the newly built R & D and production center of more than 3,000 square meters, and all agreed that the official opening and operation of Suzhou GAO SEMI Co., Ltd. will support the field of advanced semiconductor materials in Suzhou Industrial Park, and provide stronger support for the park's nanotechnology application and high-quality development of new materials industry.
