【Alliance News】Focusing on Gallium Oxide, Alliance Makes Mark at 2025 Semiconductor New Materials Development (Wuxi) Conference

      The 2025 Semiconductor New Materials Development (Wuxi) Conference was successfully held in the splendid city of Wuxi, from April 16 to 18. More than 600 experts, scholars and industry elites from over 300 institutions in China's semiconductor materials and related upstream and downstream fields gathered in the early spring of April to discuss hot issues in China's semiconductor materials technology and industrial development.

      The opening ceremony was presided over by Lin Jian, secretary-general of the Semiconductor Materials Branch of the China Electronic Materials Industry Association. Gu Wenhao, district head of Xishan District People's Government of Wuxi City, Zuo Lei, director of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, Pan Lin, president of China Electronics Materials Industry Association, Lin Jian, Secretary-General of China Electronics Materials Industry Association Semiconductor Materials Branch, and Gao Shuliang, general manager of Dalian Linton NC Machine Co., Ltd., delivered speeches at the opening ceremony.

Yang Deren, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a professor at Zhejiang University delivered a wonderful report titled "Growth and Defects of Gallium Oxide Crystals". Shi Dongmei, former chief engineer and second-level researcher of the High-tech Research and Development Center of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, gave a wonderful presentation on the "Development Status and Trends of Advanced Semiconductor Materials and Technologies".

      The expert report session on the afternoon of the 17th and the sub-forums on Silicon Carbide, Gallium Oxide and Diamond on the morning of the 18th invited over 30 guests to deliver wonderful keynote speeches at the conference. The report covers the technological frontiers, application innovations and industry hotspots in the development of many semiconductor materials fields such as Silicon Carbide materials, Gallium Nitride materials, Diamond materials and Gallium Oxide materials. Among them, the reports of the Gallium Oxide sub-forum were shared by the guest teachers from the research process to the industrial development in a step-by-step manner, which benefited us a lot.

      This time, the alliance held a " Follow for rewards" event at the booth. By getting everyone to follow the alliance official account, we aim to enhance the account's popularity and attention, enabling more insightful individuals interested in Gallium Oxide materials to access first-hand information and papers on Gallium Oxide. The event was light-hearted and lively, with rich prizes and a steady stream of participants.

      The alliance's event attracted a large number of participants. While promoting its official account, alliance also expanded some potential member units. According to statistics, at this meeting, the alliance expanded 6 potential member enterprises, 3 investment and financing units, and 2 media cooperation units.

      During the conference, the beautiful alliance orange stood out strikingly against the backdrop of a group of tech blue. The concept of a professional service platform for Gallium Oxide that the alliance adheres to also attracted everyone to come and learn more. With the detailed introduction of the staff, more people learned what the alliance does and the services it can provide. It is believed that this will have a positive effect on the expansion and promotion of Gallium Oxide materials.
