Preface

      Time flies, 2025 has quietly passed the halfway mark. Looking back from the middle of the year, the past six months have been an important period of opportunities and challenges, struggles and gains. The alliance has always adhered to the principle of "concentration, professionalism and dedication", taking serving its members as its responsibility, and all its work has been steadily advancing as planned.

      To facilitate everyone's understanding of the achievements of the alliance, we have divided the work of the alliance in the first half of the year according to the alliance's service categories. These include: visiting member units, facilitating meeting exchanges and cooperation, building and optimizing the talent pool, learning about, formulating, and promoting group standards, and continuously empowering the publicity platform. Next, we will present the specific measures and phased achievements of each work one by one.

 

Part 1: The Alliance Visits Member Units

 

01 Suzhou GAO Semiconductor Co., Ltd. Officially Opened for Business, Alliance Awarded it a Council Member Bronze Plaque

      On January 15, 2025, Suzhou GAO Semiconductor Co., Ltd. held a grand opening ceremony in Xinshengli, Suzhou Industrial Park, to celebrate the official completion and production, the signing of cooperation projects, and the release of new products such as 6-inch Gallium Oxide substrates.

      Shen Tao, the chairman of the alliance, attended the opening ceremony and signing ceremony of Suzhou GAO Semiconductor, and presented a bronze plaque of the Council Member unit to GAO Semiconductor. Through this opening ceremony, the alliance gained a deeper understanding of the industrial direction and planning of the Council Member unit, and clarified the future service direction and goals.

 

02 Visit the Council Member Unit: Hangzhou Fujia Gallium Technology Co., LTD

      On January 17th, Shen Tao, the chairman of the alliance, and Fei Xuemei, the secretary-general, led a team to visit Hangzhou Fujia Gallium Technology Co., LTD., a Council Member unit located in Fuyang District, Hangzhou City. They presented the Council Member unit with a plaque and took a group photo as a memento.

      Chairman Qi Hongji of Fujia Gallium led us on a tour of the company and actively discussed the industrial planning of Fujia Gallium in the field of Gallium Oxide and the future development of the alliance. Everyone agreed that the future prospects of Gallium Oxide are broad, and they will unswervingly focus on this material field and work together to create a brilliant future for the Gallium Oxide industry.

 

03 Visit to Member Units: Institute of Functional Crystals and School of Integrated Circuit Science and Engineering, Tianjin University of Technology

      On April 9th, Shen Tao, the chairman of the alliance, Fei Xuemei, the secretary-general, and the staff of the alliance jointly visited two member units located at Tianjin University of Technology, namely the Institute of Functional Crystals and the School of Integrated Circuit Science and Engineering. This visit deepened our understanding of the situation and research progress of member units, effectively conveyed the service tenet of the alliance, and further strengthened the relationship between both sides. This cooperation marks that both sides will embark on a comprehensive and in-depth integration in areas such as Gallium Oxide material research and development, talent cultivation, and collaborative innovation among industry, academia, and research, jointly contributing to the breakthrough of key technological bottlenecks in China's wide bandgap semiconductor industry.

 

04 Visit the Council Member Unit: China Resources Microelectronics Co., LTD

      On April 16th, Shen Tao, the chairman of the alliance, Fei Xuemei, the secretary-general, and the staff of the alliance jointly visited China Resources Microelectronics Co., Ltd. located in Wuxi. They had in-depth exchanges with the leaders and responsible persons of China Resources Company and clarified the main goals and research directions of China Resources in Gallium Oxide materials at present. The alliance had an in-depth exchange with China Resources Company on the future development of the alliance and strategic cooperation, and reached a consensus.

 

Part 2 Meeting Exchanges and Cooperation

 

05 The Third Council Meeting of the First Term of the Alliance was Successfully Held

      On the afternoon of January 16th, the third council meeting of the first term of the Asian Gallium Oxide Alliance was successfully held. At the meeting, the alliance reported to the Council Member on the 2024 work summary, financial data, and membership fee payment data, and discussed the contents of the alliance's key work plan for 2025 with the Council Member and their agents. The alliance focused on conducting in-depth discussions on four core topics: alliance brand conferences, distinctive events, talent pool construction, and the standardization process.

 

06 The Alliance Collaborated for the First Time with the Semiconductor Materials Industry Branch of China Electronic Materials Industry Association - 2025 Semiconductor New Materials Development (Wuxi) Conference

      From April 16th to 18th, the Semiconductor New Materials Development (Wuxi) Conference was successfully held in Wuxi, which is known as the "Pearl of Taihu Lake" and the "Paradise of Jiangnan". As a cooperative partner, the Asian Gallium Oxide Alliance actively participated in this conference and planned and carried out the "Pay Attention and Get Great Gifts" event on the booth site, which attracted many attendees to interact. The event effectively enhanced the influence of the alliance and further promoted the dissemination of information and research achievements related to Gallium Oxide materials. The event, which was flexible in form and highly responsive, became a striking sight in the exhibition area of this conference. The alliance will continue to join hands with industry peers, deepen cooperation and promote common development, injecting continuous impetus into the field of semiconductor new materials.

 

07 Exploring JFSC&CSE from the Perspective of a Deeply Cooperative Unit with Alliance

      The Jiufengshan Conference (JFSC) and Compound Semiconductor Industry Expo (CSE) was successfully held at the Optics Valley Science and Technology Convention and Exhibition Center from April 23 to 25. As a partner, the Asian Gallium Oxide Industry alliance was invited to participate in the exhibition. At booth B214 on the second floor, a series of exchange activities were held, focusing on serving members, expanding cooperation and enhancing influence.

      During the exhibition, the secretary-general of the alliance received over 70 groups of visitors, actively introduced the development of the alliance and the dynamics of Gallium Oxide materials, and cumulatively expanded over 20 potential cooperative units, gaining over 100 new followers for the official accounts. Meanwhile, the alliance visited 14 member units. Moreover, taking this meeting as an opportunity, the alliance simultaneously carried out member interview activities, conducting in-depth interviews with 7 member units to gain a thorough understanding of their latest development trends and demands, enhance communication and exchanges among each other, and lay a solid foundation for subsequent precise services and resource matching. The work of the alliance has been widely recognized by member enterprises, laying a solid foundation for the continuous construction of a professional and collaborative industrial service platform.

 

08 Focus on the Frontier | Alliance Enters the 2025 Fourth-Generation Semiconductor Technology Conference

      The 2025 Fourth-Generation Semiconductor Technology Conference was grandly held in Xiaoshan, Hangzhou on May 15th and 16th. At this meeting, the staff of the alliance participated deeply as attendees and, from the perspective of the audience, learned about the latest development trends of the fourth-generation semiconductor technology. Through in-depth exchanges with many experts and scholars engaged in Gallium Oxide research and related exhibitors, we have gained a more comprehensive and three-dimensional understanding of the current situation and development trends of the industry.

      During the conference, the alliance expanded its potential member units by five and established connections with many experts in the field of Gallium Oxide. The alliance had in-depth discussions on the current research directions and industrial pain points, which not only deepened the understanding of the technical path but also further clarified the key issues currently faced.

 

Part 3: Building and Optimizing the Talent Pool

 

09 The Talent Pool is Continuously Optimized to Build a Precise and Efficient Matching Platform

      Since the launch of the talent pool construction, the alliance has maintained close communication and follow-up with enterprises and universities and colleges, continuously collecting feedback from multiple parties including employers, research institutions and universities. To further enhance the quality of service, the alliance has held multiple meetings to optimize and adjust the talent pool, striving to achieve a more efficient talent matching effect. After continuous iterations in the past year and the first half of this year, the alliance has gained a deeper understanding of the positioning and function of the talent pool. To better align with the current recruitment model of the talent market, the alliance has comprehensively optimized the operation system of the talent pool. By integrating the alliance's publicity platform and professional services, it aims to create a more precise and efficient platform for the exchange and connection of recruitment information that addresses the needs of both universities and enterprises.



Part 4 Learning and Promotion of Group Standards

 

10 The Alliance Studies and Promotes the Project Initiation of the Gallium Oxide Group Standard

      Since last year, the alliance has continuously delved into the relevant knowledge and qualification requirements of group standards. Through the process of constantly accumulating experience and expanding resources, it has gradually acquired the ability to provide related services. After the initial preparation and communication, the alliance has established a partnership with the Semiconductor Materials Branch of the China Electronic Materials Industry Association to jointly promote the construction of the Gallium Oxide group standard system. In May, the alliance officially issued a notice that it could accept the initial application for the establishment of group standards and successfully assisted the Council Member units in completing the application for the establishment of standards.

      From June 12th to 13th, the group standard "Non-Destructive XRT Detection of Defects in Gallium Oxide Materials ", led by China Resources Microelectronics Co., LTD., and jointly formulated by the Institute of Industrial Science of Wuhan University, the Asian Gallium Oxide Alliance, and Hangzhou Fujia Gallium Industry Technology Co., Ltd. as participating units, was successfully approved for project initiation at Kaihua.

      By participating in this group standard project initiation meeting, the alliance systematically studied the process and requirements of standard formulation, further deepened its understanding of group standard work, and also laid a solid foundation for better serving member units and providing efficient and standardized support in the future. At present, the alliance has the capacity to undertake the service of formulating group standards.

 

Part 5: The Promotion Platform Continues to Empower

 

11 The Alliance Continuously Improves Publicity System and Broadens Publicity Channels

      Over the past six months, the alliance has been committed to improving its own publicity system, focusing on enhancing the quality of platform content and service capabilities, and carrying out multiple optimization works around the operation of the operation and content development of its subscription accounts.

      The alliance continuously optimizes the article content, focuses on professional directions, refines the expression methods, and enhances the overall logic and reading experience. At the same time, a new "Knowledge Exploration" section has been added to expand the content dimension and focus on popularizing the latest industry trends and basic knowledge; Set up a "Project Declare" column to promptly release information on scientific research projects, policy notices and related application details, further strengthening the service function. Attach great importance to the timeliness and professionalism of the articles to ensure that the content keeps up with industry trends and has strong reference value; In addition, continuously enrich the diversity of the subscription account, iteratively select articles and recommend reading to provide a better reading experience for fans and readers.

      In addition, to further expand the dissemination channels, the alliance officially launched its video account at the end of June and released the first batch of member interview videos. In the future, the alliance will expand more video materials, enrich publicity forms, keep pace with The Times, and enhance the visual communication capabilities and influence of the alliance platform.

 

12 The Official Website of the Alliance Has been Upgraded Simultaneously, Promoting a Comprehensive Improvement in Publicity Effectiveness

      The alliance actively promotes the synchronous upgrade of the website and the WeChat official accounts, with a focus on strengthening the construction of website publicity functions, improving content layout and user experience. By optimizing the website structure and enhancing the efficiency of information release, effective interaction with the content of the official accounts can be achieved to ensure that the promotional information reaches a wider audience. It has further strengthened the influence of the alliance within the industry, laying a solid foundation for subsequent brand promotion and resource integration.

      In the first half of 2025, the Asian Gallium Oxide Industry alliance has consistently adhered to the service concept of "concentration, professionalism and dedication", steadily advancing in key areas such as standard construction, platform building, member services, and conference exchanges, and continuously consolidating in-depth cooperative relationships with member units and industry partners. By actively participating in multiple industry conferences, visits and exchanges, as well as platform construction, the alliance has continuously expanded its service dimensions, enhanced its resource linkage capabilities, and promoted the collaborative integration of the upstream and downstream of the industry. Especially in terms of the construction of the official website and the talent pool, the alliance has taken the initiative to act, creating a comprehensive platform for information sharing and talent connection, and promoting the high-quality development of the Gallium Oxide industry. In addition, the alliance has been continuously accumulating relevant knowledge and qualification requirements in the field of standardization construction, and actively conducting practical explorations. By participating in the standard project initiation meetings, systematically sorting out the work processes, and further strengthening the service foundation, it now has the capacity to undertake the formulation of group standards.

      Looking ahead to the second half of the year, the alliance will continue to focus on service empowerment, strengthen the support and cohesion of the platform, and work hand in hand with all member units to create a brilliant future together.

      1. Hosting Important Conference

      Co-organize the conference in Wuhu, Anhui Province from July 15th to 17th and host the Gallium Oxide sub-forum.

      2. Organize Industry Events

      Host the Notice of The 5th Cross-Strait Conference on Gallium Oxide and Related Materials and Devices from October 10th to 12th.

      3. Optimize Talent Services

      Continue to improve the talent supply and demand exchange platform in the Gallium Oxide field, precisely matching talents.

      4. Expanding Alliance Influence

      Continuously attract alliance members and experts to comprehensively enhance the industry influence of the alliance.

      5. Promoting Standard Building

      Actively promote the formulation of group standards and build a Gallium Oxide standard system.

      6. Deepen Member Services

      Conduct in-depth visits to the member units of the alliance, accurately grasp their demands and provide customized services.

      7. Strengthening Platform Construction

      Comprehensively enhance the influence of subscription accounts, video accounts and websites, and build three specialized service platforms.
