The highly anticipated China Materials Conference 2025 was held grandly at Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center from July 5th to 8th, 2025. The opening ceremony of this conference specially invited Gao Ruiping, the president of the Chinese Ceramic Society, Duan Wenhui, the president of the Chinese Society of Micro and Nano Technology, Cao Chunyu, the president of the China Paper Society, Wang Xinjiang, the vice president and secretary-general of the Chinese Society for Metals, and Sun Junliang, the vice president and secretary-general of the Chinese Crystal Society to attend. Nearly 30,000 people attended the conference in person, and more than 3.5 million people participated online. Academicians and experts in the field of new materials in China attended the conference, and more than 700 heads of large enterprises, central enterprises and listed companies attended the conference. Professor He Yunbin from the college of Microelectronics of Wuhan Textile University was invited to attend the conference and delivered a keynote academic report on the research achievements of high-quality Gallium Oxide thin film heteroepitaxial growth and its characteristic characterization.
In his presentation, Professor He elaborated on two specific studies. First, a high-quality β-Ga₂O₃ epitaxial film was grown on an MgO (100) substrate using the PLD method, and the detector prepared at 7Pa oxygen pressure performed better than the product on the C-sapphire substrate. Secondly, the growth characteristics of α-Ga₂O₃ ultrathin films on Au (111) surface were investigated, and the stability and band gap of 2D-GaO were discovered.
Professor He Yunbin's participation in the conference and presentation not only showcased the latest achievements of Wuhan Textile University in the field of Gallium Oxide thin film research, but also provided a good platform for the university to communicate and cooperate with domestic and international colleagues. This is conducive to promoting the further development of related research and laying a solid foundation for the practical application of Gallium Oxide materials.
