From July 15th to 17th, 2025, the 2025 Wide Band Gap Semiconductor Technology and Application Development Summit Forum was held at the Wuhu Macrolink Legend Hotel, Anhui Province. The conference was hosted by Innovation Alliance of Wide Bandgap Semiconductor Technology and the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and organized by Wuhu Research Institute of Xidian University, Beijing TanKeBlue Semiconductor Co., Ltd. and Wuhu Xichuang Technology Co., Ltd., and High-End Chip Industry Innovation and Development Alliance, Asian Gallium Oxide Alliance, Wuhu Semiconductor Industry Association, China Chamber of International Commerce Wuhu Chamber of Commerce, Power Semiconductor Industry Alliance, and Shanghai InSemi Research Consulting Co., LTD Co., Ltd. co-organized.
With the theme of " Breaking Through 2025, Unlocking New Application Markets ", the conference brought together more than 400 industry elites, nearly 200 representatives of well-known enterprises, and top experts and scholars at home and abroad from the upstream, midstream and downstream of the wide bandgap semiconductor industry chain, such as consumables, equipment, materials, epitaxy, devices to applications. The participants focused on the key path of coordinated development of the industrial chain, the breakthrough progress of core technologies and the huge potential of emerging application markets, carried out fruitful exchanges and collisions, outlined the way to break the situation in industrial upgrading in an all-round way, and injected strong momentum into the development of new markets for wide bandgap semiconductors.

PARALLEL SESSION REVIEW
On the afternoon of July 16, the special session on the coordinated development of the wide bandgap semiconductor industry chain opened. In this parallel session, the alliance specially invited Luo Xiaorong, vice president of Chengdu University of Information Science and Technology, to attend and give a wonderful report as the host of the first half of the session, injecting professional insights into the forum.

At the same time, the parallel session on Gallium Oxide technology and industrial development was grandly opened. As the main organizer of this, the Asian Gallium Oxide Alliance comprehensively coordinates the preparation and organization of the sub-forum. In the preparatory stage, the alliance set up a professional working group to carry out efficient docking around the core links such as report invitation, expert communication, and content coordination, and successfully completed key preparations such as the invitation of the speaker and the arrangement of the agenda.

The alliance attended the meeting as a co-organizer, actively cooperated with the organizer, and fully participated in the preliminary preparation and on-site organization of the meeting. In addition, during the meeting, the staff of the alliance had face-to-face exchanges with a number of university teachers, scientific researchers and enterprise representatives at booth 41, introduced the technical advantages and application directions of gallium oxide materials, and also listened carefully to the views and suggestions of front-line people in the industry. Through the exchange, everyone not only enhanced their understanding of the current situation of the gallium oxide industry, but also made more people realize the role of the alliance in promoting the development of materials, and accumulated a good foundation for subsequent cooperation and interaction.
