【Conference Information】The 6th Asia-Pacific Conference on Silicon Carbide and Related Materials (APCSCRM 2025)

      Wide bandgap semiconductor materials, represented by SiC, GaN, Ga2O3, AlN, and diamond, are currently at a critical stage for achieving industrial breakthroughs. With the mass production breakthrough of 8-inch SiC substrates, silicon carbide devices are achieving large-scale applications in the 800V high-voltage platforms of new energy vehicles and photovoltaic inverters. GaN technology is successfully extending beyond the consumer electronics fast-charging market, progressively penetrating industrial-grade scenarios such as data center power supplies, 5G base stations, and onboard charging systems. Concurrently, Ga2O3 and diamond semiconductors are emerging in ultra-high-voltage power electronics and deep-UV optoelectronics, leveraging their groundbreaking material properties to lay the foundation for next-generation power devices. AlN material is also achieving key technological breakthroughs in 5G communications and deep-UV sensing due to its exceptional thermal conductivity and radio frequency (RF) performance. From the electric drive systems of electric vehicles to the energy management of smart grids, and from the RF modules of 5G base stations to the power systems of satellite communications, wide bandgap semiconductors are reshaping the technological landscape of multiple key industries.

      As a significant international exchange platform in the wide bandgap semiconductor field, the Asia-Pacific Conference on Silicon Carbide and Related Materials (APCSCRM) has successfully convened five sessions since its inaugural meeting was held in Beijing, China, in 2018. The conference has cumulatively attracted nearly 4,000 authoritative delegates from over ten countries and regions, including China, Europe, the United States, Japan, and South Korea, bringing together the expertise of more than 1,000 enterprises, and showcasing over 300 professional reports.       To promote the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial application in wide bandgap semiconductors, the 6th Asia-Pacific Conference on Silicon Carbide and Related Materials (APCSCRM 2025) will be grandly held in Zhengzhou, Henan, Central China International Convention and Exhibition Center, from November 25 to 27, 2025.
