【Domestic News】The 2025 Highly Cited Chinese Researchers List Officially Released: Multiple Scholars in the Gallium Oxide Field Recognized

      On January 30, 2026, Elsevier officially released the 2025 Highly Cited Chinese Researchers list. A total of 6,310 researchers were selected, representing 543 universities, enterprises, and research institutions, spanning 10 disciplinary categories and 83 first-level disciplines defined by the Ministry of Education.

      Thirteen researchers were selected from the gallium oxide and related wide-bandgap semiconductor fields.

      Among the selected scholars, four are members of the Technical Expert Committee of the Asian Gallium Oxide Alliance: Committee Chair Professor Zhang Jincheng of Xidian University; Committee Members Professor Li Peigang of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Professor Ye Jiandong of Nanjing University, and Professor Zhou Hong of Xidian University. In addition, Professor Tang Weihua of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, a council member of the Alliance, was also included in the list.
