Recently, Shenzhen V&T Technologies Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 300484) has taken an important step in its industrial layout by officially completing a strategic investment in GaFuture Semiconductor Technology, an emerging company in the fourth-generation semiconductor sector. This investment not only injects new momentum into GaFuture’s development, but also marks a new chapter in V&T’s exploration and deployment in the field of fourth-generation semiconductors.

Capital Empowerment to Build an Industrial Ecosystem
GaFuture previously secured angel-round investments from Juzhuo Capital – Jinjiang Talent Sci-Tech Fund and Xinfengze Semiconductor, gaining initial recognition in the capital market. V&T’s strategic investment now represents a key milestone for GaFuture as it moves from technology R&D toward industrial implementation.
As a well-established domestic enterprise in industrial automation control and core components for new energy vehicles, V&T has accumulated extensive expertise in electric control technologies and downstream application scenarios. This investment is not merely financial in nature; rather, it is based on a shared long-term vision for the application prospects of fourth-generation semiconductors. Through the dual linkage of “capital + industry,” the two parties aim to jointly build a fourth-generation semiconductor ecosystem.
Technological Synergy to Overcome Application Challenges
Leveraging the technical background of Xidian University, GaFuture’s core team possesses more than ten years of R&D experience and is among the few domestic companies capable of mass-producing gallium oxide heteroepitaxial wafers.
The company adopts a self-developed Halide Vapor Phase Epitaxy (HVPE) process to achieve high-quality gallium oxide epitaxial growth on substrates such as silicon carbide and sapphire. Key performance parameters have reached internationally leading levels, laying a solid foundation for the commercial application of gallium oxide power devices.
V&T, with its mature technical system and extensive practical experience in electric control technologies, has a deep understanding of performance requirements for power devices in diverse industrial environments. Following this partnership, both parties will leverage their respective technological strengths to carry out in-depth collaborative innovation. Through close cooperation across the industrial chain, they aim to address application challenges of gallium oxide devices under harsh industrial conditions, enhance product performance and reliability, and accelerate the industrialization of gallium oxide technology.
Based on the Present, Shaping the Future
Currently, Phase I of GaFuture’s project in the Jinjiang Integrated Circuit Industrial Park has entered the trial operation stage. The strategic investment from V&T provides strong support for GaFuture’s capacity expansion and technology commercialization.
Looking ahead, both parties will closely collaborate with a market-driven approach, focusing on validation and testing of gallium oxide devices in new energy vehicles, photovoltaic inverters, and industrial power supply systems.
V&T will leverage its market channels and customer resources in the new energy and industrial automation sectors to provide application scenarios and testing platforms for GaFuture’s products, accelerating product iteration and upgrades. Meanwhile, GaFuture will continue concentrating on R&D and manufacturing of gallium oxide technologies, further improving product quality and scaling up production capacity.
Together, the two companies aim to build GaFuture into a globally competitive supplier of core materials for fourth-generation semiconductors, contributing to the advancement of China’s fourth-generation semiconductor industry.
This strategic investment represents an important deployment for V&T in the fourth-generation semiconductor sector and a new starting point for mutually beneficial cooperation between V&T and GaFuture. Moving forward, V&T will continue to uphold the principles of openness, collaboration, and innovation, working with industry partners to explore the vast potential of fourth-generation semiconductors and contribute further to the progress and development of the industry.
