Recently, Shandong SINOGa Valley Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. and Jiangxi AVONFLOW HVAC Technology Co., Ltd. (301575.SZ) officially signed an agreement to establish a strategic investment partnership.
Leveraging their respective technological and industrial strengths, the two parties will deepen industrial collaboration and resource synergies, jointly advancing the large-scale production and commercialization of (001)-oriented twin-free Ga₂O₃ substrates fabricated using the EFG method, thereby contributing to the commercialization of fourth-generation semiconductor materials in China.

As a key material for next-generation ultra-wide-bandgap (UWBG) semiconductors, Ga₂O₃ offers outstanding performance advantages and is well suited to a wide range of high-end applications, including ultra-high-voltage power systems, energy storage, high-voltage new-energy vehicles, and aerospace. It is also a key technology area currently receiving significant attention across the semiconductor industry, with broad prospects for commercial applications.
Shandong SINOGa Valley Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. focuses on the R&D of ultra-wide-bandgap semiconductor materials. Targeting long-standing technical challenges in the industry, the company has continuously advanced core process technologies and steadily built up its capabilities in independently controlled hard technologies.
In recent years, leveraging its proprietary core technologies and innovations, the company has successfully established a full technology chain spanning Ga₂O₃ single-crystal growth by the EFG method through substrate processing. It has achieved stable, batch production of 2- to 4-inch (001) twin-free Ga₂O₃ substrates, while also completing the trial production of 6-inch products and beginning small-batch deliveries. The company’s key crystal performance indicators have now reached internationally advanced levels, marking a successful breakthrough of the long-standing overseas restrictions on high-end Ga₂O₃ materials and processing technologies.
The investment partner in this strategic cooperation, Jiangxi AVONFLOW HVAC Technology Co., Ltd. (301575.SZ), is a Shenzhen Stock Exchange-listed company and a National Manufacturing Single-Product Champion Enterprise. With many years of experience in manufacturing, AVONFLOW has established a mature large-scale production system and extensive supply-chain management expertise, along with substantial practical experience in smart manufacturing, flexible manufacturing, and quality control.
Through this strategic investment partnership, SINOGa Valley Semiconductor will leverage AVONFLOW’s mature manufacturing system and industrial operations capabilities to address gaps in production capacity, process engineering, and quality control between technology development and large-scale manufacturing. The two parties will continue to optimize production processes, improve product yield, and accelerate the qualification, introduction, and validation of Ga₂O₃ substrates in downstream power-device applications.

As domestically produced (001) twin-free Ga₂O₃ substrates fabricated using the EFG method move toward stable, large-scale supply, they are expected to help reduce China’s reliance on overseas imports of high-end semiconductor materials and address a key industrial gap in the UWBG power semiconductor substrate sector.
Looking ahead, supported by both capital investment and industrial collaboration, the company will build on an innovative development model combining “hard-tech R&D + manufacturing-oriented capital”. By strengthening the critical link between original technology breakthroughs in the laboratory and industrial-scale deployment, the company will continue to accelerate the commercialization of Ga₂O₃ materials across key applications, including power devices, new-energy equipment, power electronics, and computing hardware, contributing core capabilities to the development of a more self-reliant and controllable high-end semiconductor supply chain in China.
