Introduction

      Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications (CQUPT) is a post-telecom university deployed and constructed emphatically by Chinese government. With the full sponsorship from MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) and Chongqing Municipality, the university is a multidisciplinary teaching and research institution that plays a leading role in the field of information communications.

      The university has more than 27,000 students, including more than 5,800 graduate students. There are more than 2,100 staff members, including more than 870 senior professional titles, and more than 900 doctoral supervisors and master supervisors. The university has hired more than 30 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, Poland, India and other countries,and more than 150 well-known experts as scholars are adjunct professors or honorary professors. Innovation Team of New Semiconductor Materials and Device

      The new semiconductor body material and device innovation team is an affiliate scientific research team of "Municipal Key Laboratory of Microelectronics Engineering of Chongqing University" and "Chongqing Microelectronics Device and Integrated Circuit System Engineering Technology Research Center". The team consists of 13 members, including 2 distinguished professors (external), 5 associate professors / associate researchers, and 6 lecturers, including 4 Bayu scholars. The team mainly conducts researches on new flexible displays, power semiconductors and sensors and other related materials and devices. The team has presided over and undertaken 5 national Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 international joint project and more than 20 other municipal projects, achievement transformation and horizontal projects; More than 110 SCI / EI / Chinese core papers are published, and 15 patents got authorized; It has won one second prize of innovation achievements of China Association for Industry-University-Research Cooperation and one second prize of outstanding research achievements of Chongqing Municipal Party Committee.

      The office and scientific research space is about 300 square meters, including 80 square meters of clean room, 70 square meters of chemical room and 50 square meters of device test room. The laboratory is equipped with large multi-cavity ultra-high vacuum organic film steam plating system, LED photoelectric characteristic testing system, Cascade high voltage probe table (3000V), Keysight B1505A power device analyzer and other advanced equipment for material device preparation, photoelectric test and power analysis. In terms of new flexible display materials and devices, the team mainly carries out quantum dot QLED, organic OLED, gallium nitride Micro-LED and other  research on new display materials, devices and thin films; Based on the third-generation semiconductor gallium nitride (GaN) and silicon carbide (SiC), the team mainly carries out the research and development of power semiconductor devices, optoelectronic devices and new display; a series of designs of Si-based insulation gate bipolar transistor IGBT and MOS, and a series of new optoelectronic materials.
