Born in December 1990, Zhou Hong is a professor and doctoral supervisor of Xidian University. He was selected into the National Youth High-level Talents Program and the approved Outstanding Youth Fund project.

In the past 10 years, Dr. Zhou has studied under distinguished Professor Ye Peade of Purdue University, IEEE and APS Fellow; Professor Hu Zhengming, Academician of American Engineering / recipient of the American Medal of Science, and Professor Hao Yue, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has been engaged in new semiconductor power devices and materials, microwave devices and logic of the structure, process and mechanism, including wide band semiconductor GaN Schottky diode (SBD) and high electron mobility transistor (HEMT), ultra-wide band semiconductor β-Ga₂O₃ and AlN SBDs and FETs microwave power and power electronic devices, Si, InGaAs under 10 nm node NC-FinFET, GAA.
