【Domestic News】New Development in Export Controls: Exports of Gallium, Germanium, and Other Rare Materials to the U.S. No Longer Restricted — Announcement on Adjustments to the Implementation of MOFCOM Notice No. 46 (2024)

      On November 9, the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) announced that, effective immediately until November 27, 2026, the second clause of the Announcement on Strengthening Export Controls on Certain Dual-Use Items to the United States (MOFCOM Notice No. 46 of 2024) will be suspended.

      This means that exports of gallium, germanium, antimony, and superhard-material-related dual-use items to the U.S. are no longer restricted, and the end-user and end-use review requirements for graphite dual-use items exported to the U.S. will also be relaxed.
