Leading Sub-Forums and Sharing Shenzhen’s Industry-Research Wisdom
This forum featured eight major summit sessions. The Shenzhen Pinghu Laboratory not only participated deeply in the Strategic Compound Semiconductor Material Technology Summit but also co-organized the New Quality Semiconductor Power Electronics Technology and Application Summit. In its role as an academic leader, the laboratory actively promoted technical exchange and industrial synergy.
01 Sub-Forum: Focusing on Ultra-Wide Bandgap Semiconductors and Sharing Frontier Research Progress
At the Strategic Compound Semiconductor Material Technology Summit, Professor Zhang Daohua, Chief Scientist for Fourth-Generation Semiconductors at Shenzhen Pinghu Laboratory, was invited to deliver a keynote report titled "Latest Research Progress in Ultra-Wide Bandgap Semiconductors." The presentation focused on core ultra-wide bandgap (UWBG) materials such as gallium oxide, diamond, and aluminum nitride. Professor Zhang systematically shared the laboratory’s latest breakthroughs in material preparation, performance optimization, and technical problem-solving. These insights provide critical material and technical references for the industrialization of fourth-generation semiconductor technology, helping China seize the initiative in the frontier field of ultra-wide bandgap semiconductors.
