The conference is organized by the Crystal Growth and Materials Division of the Chinese Ceramic Society and the Chinese Ceramic Society, and hosted by Shandong University. The conference aims to build a platform for exchange, learning, and collaboration among researchers and technical professionals in the field of crystal materials and related areas, thereby strengthening research capabilities, advancing scientific and technological development, promoting the growth of functional crystal materials, meeting major national demands, and fostering the development of the crystal materials industry and its related sectors.

Used for the growth of various high-quality single crystals via the pulling method, including gallium oxide (Ga₂O₃), lithium niobate (LiNbO₃), tellurium dioxide (TeO₂), YAG, sapphire, YSO, LYSO, and others.
