      Beijing Huaxia Furun Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. was established in 1988 and is a privately owned high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, processing, and manufacturing of precious-metal materials. The company has long been engaged in the precision manufacturing and processing of platinum, rhodium, iridium, and other precious metals and their alloys, with decades of accumulated technical expertise and experience in areas including high-temperature precious-metal crucibles and the forming of difficult-to-deform precious-metal materials.

      Since 2025, the company has been carrying out in-depth product development and technical cooperation with companies in the Ga₂O₃ industry. In response to the requirements for high-temperature stability, structural reliability, and service life of crucibles used in Ga₂O₃ single-crystal growth, the company has focused on developing platinum-rhodium alloy crucibles for Ga₂O₃ single-crystal growth using the vertical Bridgman (VB) method, and has achieved phased achievements.

      Platinum-rhodium alloys with high rhodium content are characterized by high strength, pronounced work hardening, and difficulty in plastic forming, placing stringent requirements on deformation control, spinning paths, and processing techniques. Drawing on its long-standing experience in precious-metal materials processing, the company has developed an in-depth understanding of the material characteristics and forming behavior of platinum-rhodium alloys. It has also developed corresponding spinning-forming processes and processing methods for different specifications, wall thicknesses, and application requirements.

      The company has independently developed a single-sheet, seamless, integral spinning-forming technology for precious-metal crucibles. Using a single piece of sheet material, the main body of the crucible can be formed directly by spinning, reducing the need for welded structures associated with conventional multi-piece forming processes. Seamless integral forming helps improve the overall structural and materialmicrostructure consistency of the crucible and reduces potential weak points associated with welds under prolonged high-temperature service. This, in turn, can enhance the crucible’s high-temperature reliability and reduce the risk of leakage. The company has accumulated extensive technical experience in the seamless forming of precious metals. Its seamless iridium crucible processing technology, for example, was granted a Chinese national invention patent in 2016 and has since been put into practical application.

      Looking ahead, the company will further expand its R&D efforts and presence in the Ga₂O₃ industrial chain, with a focus on developing platinum-rhodium alloy crucibles for large-size Ga₂O₃ single-crystal growth. It will also strengthen collaboration with Ga₂O₃ crystal-growth companies, research institutions, and upstream and downstream partners across the industrial chain, providing reliable precious-metal materials and critical components to support the development of China’s Ga₂O₃ materials and ultra-wide-bandgap semiconductor industries.
