On September 29, 2026, Hangzhou Fujia Gallium Technology Co., Ltd., Aluminum Corporation of China Research Institute of Science and Technology Co., Ltd., and Chinalco Qianxing (Chengdu) Technology Co., Ltd. signed an Agreement on the Gallium Oxide Joint Laboratory in Chengdu. The three parties will jointly establish a gallium oxide laboratory to foster synergies between Aluminum Corporation of China’s research platform, its rare and dispersed metals industrial platform, and Fujia Gallium’s capabilities in the industrialization of gallium oxide materials and equipment. Through this collaboration, they aim to strengthen the gallium oxide industrial ecosystem and help establish an integrated domestic gallium oxide industrial chain spanning all stages of development.

Strengthening Industrial Collaboration with Key Platforms of Aluminum Corporation of China
The two partner organizations involved in the agreement play important roles in scientific and technological innovation and the development of rare and dispersed metals within Aluminum Corporation of China. The Aluminum Corporation of China Research Institute of Science and Technology is a research institution directly affiliated with the Group and serves as a key platform for its research into advanced materials. Chinalco Qianxing is a specialized subsidiary focused on extending and expanding the Group’s rare and dispersed metals industrial chain, promoting the development of these metals toward higher purity, enhanced functionality, and device applications. Together, these two platforms provide important support for the Joint Laboratory’s technological breakthroughs, resource coordination, and technology transfer.
Drawing on its expertise in gallium oxide single-crystal growth, substrate processing, epitaxy, and equipment design and manufacturing, Fujia Gallium will strengthen collaboration with both partners. The three parties aim to improve coordination across raw material research and development, material preparation, product validation, and industrial demand, creating more favorable conditions for advancing gallium oxide from technological research to industrial applications.
Joint Efforts to Advance Key Technologies and Commercialize Research Outcomes
Under the agreement, the three parties will leverage the Joint Laboratory to jointly address key technological challenges in gallium oxide industrialization, conduct product validation and optimization, and advance standardization. They will also pursue broad-based collaboration in technology R&D, project cooperation and research commercialization, industrial coordination, and resource sharing.
Based on the needs of research activities and project implementation, the three parties will strengthen the coordinated use and sharing of research facilities, instruments and equipment, technical resources, and industrial resources, providing support for technology validation, product applications, and the industrialization of research outcomes.
Integrating Research and Industrial Resources to Build a Gallium Oxide Ecosystem
The industrialization of gallium oxide requires coordinated efforts across multiple stages, including raw materials, crystal and epitaxial materials, equipment, and application validation. This collaboration connects the research capabilities of scientific platforms, the resource coordination capabilities of specialized industrial platforms, and the engineering expertise of enterprises. It is expected to facilitate feedback from industrial demand to R&D, accelerate the translation of research outcomes into products and applications, and promote collaboration among upstream and downstream players in addressing shared challenges across the industrial chain.
This agreement also forms an important part of the “Joint Industrial Chain Initiative” for the high-end new materials sector. Using the Joint Laboratory as a link, Fujia Gallium will deepen its collaboration with the Aluminum Corporation of China Research Institute of Science and Technology and Chinalco Qianxing to jointly advance key gallium oxide technologies and the commercialization of research outcomes. The three parties will explore effective models for research–industry collaboration and inject new momentum into building a gallium oxide ecosystem characterized by collaborative innovation and resource sharing.
