【International Papers】Enhancement of transport properties of β-Ga₂O₃ by hydrogen

      The research team from Henan Normal University and Zhengzhou Normal University published a dissertation titled "Enhancement of transport properties of β-Ga2O3 by hydrogen" in the scientific journal "ScienceDirect."

Abstract

      Motivated by the excellent photocatalytic water splitting performance and air humidity sensing performance of gallium oxide (β-Ga2O3), the devices electrical transport properties of adsorbed water molecules as well as H and OH radicals after dissociation of water molecules were systematically investigated. The moisture-sensing properties of β-Ga2O3 are mainly derived from the adsorbed H remaining on the surface after dissociation. The interstitial H and substitution H enhanced the electrical conductivity of β-Ga2O3. It provides theoretical support for the subsequent H-doping study and carrier modulation.
