【Alliance News】 "Gallium" to drive the future! Alliance perspective of the IWGO Conference

      From May 26 to 31, 2024, the biennial International conference Gallium Oxide and Related Materials(IWGO) will be held at the Berlin Cultural Museum. A total of more than 500 participants attended the meeting, at which many experts and scholars in the international Gallium Oxide industry gave presentations, shared the latest and most cutting-edge research progress and industry dynamics, and jointly promoted the research and industrialization of Gallium Oxide.

      Asian Gallium Oxide Alliance participated in the conference as an exclusive industry service platform, and conducted in-depth exchanges and communication with many international industry experts, scholars and entrepreneurs during the conference. And introduced to you the founding intention and service content of Alliance, has been recognized and concerned by many experts, teachers and entrepreneurs.

      Several important members of the alliance were invited to attend the conference and shared the latest research results and industry progress. After the meeting, the alliance also had cordial exchanges and discussions with its members, and listened to the reports of many international experts and industry elites, so that we have stronger confidence and expectations for the future development of the Gallium Oxide industry.       At this conference, we are concerned that there are 8 exhibitors present, of which 2 are NCT and GAO SEMI, member units of the alliance. The chairman and secretary general of alliance also had a friendly exchange with other exhibitors. At the same time, they also listened to a lot of conference reports. There were more than 200 reports and poster displays in this 5-day exhibition and exchange, with different themes and contents every day. It involves Gallium Oxide crystal growth, Gallium Oxide vapor phase epitaxy, MBE and polymorphism, doping and vacancy, defect and γ-Ga₂O₃, Gallium Oxide alloys, Gallium Oxide power devices and diodes, diode high voltage, etc.

      This international Gallium Oxide event not only showcases the research progress of Gallium Oxide and the latest technical achievements, but also provides an opportunity for experts and scholars to discuss and share across national boundaries. At the same time, it also promotes the mutual exchange between enterprises and lays a good foundation for the rapid realization of industrialization. At the IWGO conference, alliance member units have booths and reports to share, which is also an important starting point for us to go abroad to the international stage.
