      On July 17-18, the high-profile Gallium Oxide industry event was successfully held in picturesque Hangzhou. By ZJU-Hangzhou Global Scientific and Technological Innovation Center, Hangzhou Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Xidian University, Hangzhou Fujia Gallium Technology Co., Ltd, Hangzhou GAREN Semiconductor Co., LTD., Semiconductor Online and Asia Gallium Oxide Alliance and other units jointly organized the "The 1st Gallium Oxide Technology and industrial Seminar" was held in Hangzhou Xiaoshan.

      Yang Deren, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and chief scientist of the Science and Technology Innovation Center, Bian Shuguang, former deputy director of the High-tech Research and Development Center of the National Natural Science Foundation, Zhang Jincheng, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and vice president of Xidian University, Yi Haiping, Vice minister of the Organization Department of Xiaoshan District Party Committee and Executive deputy director of the Talent Office of the District Party Committee, and some leading members of the Science and Technology Innovation Center attended the meeting.

      Academician Yang Deren said that Gallium Oxide material, as a new generation of ultra-wide bandgap semiconductors, has shown irreplaceable comprehensive strength in the fields of power devices, radio frequency devices and photodetectors, and its industrialization process needs to be further accelerated. He hopes that the conference can build a broader cooperation space and a more scientific and rigorous exchange and interaction platform for the technological development and industrialization of Gallium Oxide materials and devices, promote the integration and innovation of industry, university and research in the field, help key technologies and cutting-edge leading technological innovation breakthroughs, and constantly promote the high-quality development of China's semiconductor industry.

      Subsequently, Bian Shuguang, former deputy director of the High Technology Research and Development Center of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, continued to deliver the opening speech. He pointed out that although China has made progress in the research of Gallium Oxide, it still faces many challenges and technical difficulties in the preparation of large-size single crystals, low material reliability, weak stability and high production cost. He called on all parties to strengthen policy guidance, technology research and development and international cooperation to jointly promote the improvement of Gallium Oxide industry chain and application demonstration.

      Zhang Jincheng, director of Expert Technical Committee of Asian Gallium Oxide Alliance and vice president of Xidian University, said that this Gallium Oxide witnessed the latest research achievements and industrial development trends in the field of Gallium Oxide, and pointed out the direction for the future development of Gallium Oxide industry. He hopes that experts, scholars and industry colleagues in the field of Gallium Oxide can unite their efforts to develop Gallium Oxide, promote industrialization, strengthen exchanges and cooperation, and go hand in hand to jointly promote the development of Gallium Oxide technology and industry, and contribute to China's scientific and technological progress and industrial development.

      At the opening ceremony, Yi Haiping, deputy minister of the Organization Department of Xiaoshan District Party Committee and executive deputy director of the Talent Office of the District Party Committee, expressed her eager expectations for scientific and technological innovation and industrial development. She hoped that new research and development institutions such as the science and technology innovation Center could promote the development of scientific and technological innovation, talent induction, industrial transformation and other fields, and help scientific and technological innovation and industrial upgrading.

      Finally, Wang Gaohe, deputy director of Hangzhou International Science and Technology Innovation Center of Zhejiang University, mainly introduced the research achievements of Gallium Oxide in China in recent years. With the end of Director Wang's speech, the conference officially began.

      The Asian Gallium Oxide Alliance (abbreviated as: AGOA) participated in the preparation of the event as a co-organizer.
